Experience the true taste of Italy when you dine at Giovanni's, where accomplished Master Chef, Giovanni Castrignano, has been cooking recipes handed down from his grandfather since he was 14.

Giovanni graduated as a master chef from the Rome International Chef's School in 1989, and has owned and managed a number of restaurants in Australia and overseas.  He has cooked in Naples, Rome, Costa Rica, Newark and Miami, Florida (for the likes of Bruce Willis, Demi Moore and Sylvester Stallone).

In 2006 he cooked at the famous Festival of the Olives, as the best Italian Chef in Western Sydney - alongside famour gastronomer Liane Dowling.

Now Giovanni has brought the authentic taste of Italy to Hervey Bay.  Offering traditional pastas, pizzas and street foods - all cooked with fresh and seasonal local ingredients.
