Hervey Bay is blessed with a variety of markets every month, ranging from fresh fruit and veg, to trash and treasure, bric-a-brac and more.
When: 1st and 3rd Sunday, 6am to 12pm
Where: Hervey Bay Animal Refuge, Nikenbah-Dundowran Road, Nikenbah
The Nikenbah Markets are held at the Hervey Bay Animal Refuge on the first and third Sundays of each month, raising much-needed funds for the animals at the refuge. Check out arts and crafts, fresh produce, trash and treasure, cakes, jams and more.
When: 2nd, 4th and 5th, Sunday am to 12pm
Where: Kruger Court, Booral Road, Urangan
Run by the Koala Social Club, the Koala Markets are held on the second, fourth and fifth Sundays of each month at Kruger Court, Urangan. Browse a range of stalls including trash and treasure, arts and craft, antique artwork, books, furniture, apparel, handmade goods, plants, preloved CDs and DVDs, cakes and jams. With over 250 stalls, you’re sure to find something you like!
Marina Twilight Market
When: every Friday 2.30pm to 7pm
Where: Hervey Bay Marina, Urangan
Held just next door to the Hervey Bay Boat Club and 'The Deck' restaurant, Marina Twilight Market is a small market compared to other markets in Hervey Bay, however it still offers a great variety of stalls and goods including crafts, plants, honey products, bush products, toys, jewellery, wallets, locally handmade silver charms, beautifully knitted children's ware and more. Plus, you can have your palm read by the talented Jeanie.
Torquay Beachside Markets
When: 2nd, 4th and 5th Saturday of every month from 9am to 2pm
Where: Charlton Esplanade next to the Aquavue Café, beachside Torquay
The markets offer a variety of clothes, jewellery, handmade greeting cards, toys, hat and caps for all occasions, herbal teas, goat milk products, sweet and sour confectionary, honey products and jams pickles and chutneys.
Pier Park Community Markets
When: 1st, 3rd & 5th Saturday of each month from 7am to 1pm in summer and 8am to 1pm in winter.
Where: Pier St, Urangan
The beautiful Pier Park comes alive with over 100 stalls offering the very best in fresh local or organic fruit and vegies. Recognised as the premium craft market, Pier Park Community markets is run by a not-for-profit organisation with all proceeds going to charities that spend their money in the communities of the Fraser Coast.
